The Guy rooted to the wall

So I talked to that rooted in guy today, I could probably describe him better... Well imagine a normal looking man in his 40s with roots protruding from all over his body, embedding themselves into the walls and floors as such. The guy looks to be at peace with it though, he just usually sits in the corner, drinking what looks like cider.

So anyway, I went over and talked to him today, I needed to socialise I guess, it helps me forget things for a while... "Uh... Hi there..." I said, I was kind of nervous talking to him, excluding Jack, it's been a while since I've talked to someone. "Why hello there, young man! How can I help you?" he said, rather cheerfully actually, oh and yeah I'm male again, I came into contact with some teenager the other day, I'm about a 15 year old, blonde kid now, always a fun age...

Anyway, we kind of just chatted for a while, I asked stuff about him and his abilities, which he answered happily, I guess I'll just write what I learned here, rather than write the whole conversation.

Root Guy:

- His abilities started since he was about four years old, although the roots began growing faster as he grew older.
- The roots absorb any nutrients they can get, meaning if they were wrapped around a person, then they'd start sucking the life out of said person.
- He can feel the roots, meaning if you chopped them up, it would hurt him.
- Root Guy's name is Alan Tide.
- He can control where the roots go to a certain extent, they're quite slow, so it's not like he has tentacles at his disposal.

Well those were the interesting points I learned anyway, I didn't do a lot else otherwise today. Well there was actually a bar fight earlier today, I don't know who the two fighting people were, but I could've sworn I saw them both talking to Jack before... But I'm not going to start getting paranoid.

I'll end the post with that I guess, just came on to write about my day. It was nice having a conversation with someone.

It almost made this pain go away...
